Three Things I'm Loving Right Now

Sorry I have been MIA for the past couple of weeks.  With visitors, and C's graduation it's been very busy.  I should be back on track next week.  Until then, here are three things I'm loving right now.

Gelato from Central Market.  Because I need to get my taste buds ready for an Italy trip this fall.

Mia (kinda) learning how to swim.  Because, minus my weird man laugh, you can't help but smile.

Neon nail polish.  Because, well, do I need a reason?

We're Beach People

Thought I would share some of my favorite photos from our recent trip to Port Aransas.  We all had a great time, but I think Mia might have enjoyed it the most.  C and her had a blast playing king of the hill on the beach.

Even when it's not really hot and sunny I love being by water.  So peaceful!

We also went to the infamous belt sander races at a bar called the Gaff.  Mia enjoyed herself here too :)

The race track... it was pretty fun to watch!

People decorated their belt sanders for the races, some were very creative.  They were hard to get a picture of because they were racing and flying by you, but I caught this one.

4 Leg Friends

During the holidays I was able to spend some quality time with my puppy (that lives with my parents) and a friend's two doggies.  They're all adorable if you ask me!

Say Hello To Mia...

After much consideration and back and forth, we finally found a puppy that both of us liked.  We took her home and named her Mia.  She's a chocolate lab mix with blue eyes that make you instantly love her.  Thought I'd share some pictures with all of you since this is what my weekend looked like :)

Much to C's dismay, she LOVES the pink toy I got her! 

She also likes sleeping on C's jeans.  For once him not picking up his dirty clothes is cute ;)
