Turkey & Pineapple Burgers

This is a tried and true recipe from my Mom.  She made it for me once this summer and I loved it.  It's such a different mix of flavors in your mouth.  Turkey burger with some soy seasoning then the sweet mix of pineapple.  Delicious, and very simple.
Mix ground turkey meat with one onion finely chopped.
Add soy sauce to the meat mixture as well as salt and pepper to taste.  I added pepper and very little salt.  Form the meat into burger patties.
Slice up a pineapple.  Cut 1/2 round slices for the burgers.
The remainder of the pineapple you can slice up for to eat as a snack later!  Grill the burgers on the grill or in the oven until cooked through.
Serve with a pineapple slice on top of the burger and a whole wheat bun.  This is a tasty and healthy dinner.  Let me also mention again how quick it is, you can easily make the burger patties the night before and you'll have leftover pineapple for dessert or a snack.  Mouthwatering, healthy, quick with leftovers - can't ask for much more than that.  Happy Monday!
