Martha's Vineyard Part I

After the tour of Nantucket we took a large ferry, with our bikes in tow, to Martha's Vineyard.  Once we landed in Oak Bluffs we took off on a ride that ended us in Edgartown where our bed and breakfast was.  The ride there was so pretty, right along the water on the north eastern side of the island.
Plus the weather was perfect, can't ask for much more!
After we checked into the hotel we headed south to South Beach.  The way there was rolling hills and beautiful scenery.  Couldn't help but stop and take a picture of this flower stand on the side of the road.
It was the perfect time to be on the island, there were hardly any tourists.  Especially nice when you want to relax on a beach and you have the whole place to yourself!
On the way back to our hotel we passed Katama Airpark with private planes flying in and out.
Now time for some relaxation on the patio of Hob's Knob.  With a warm cup of tea - great way to end the day.
The next day was the longest ride of the whole trip.  We headed from the east side of the island to the west side, Aquinnah.  The winding roads lead us through a bunch of small towns and past many large ponds.
When we got to Aquinnah we had a nice picnic lunch and enjoyed the views.
More pictures later this week.  Hope you have a great Monday!
