Graduation Caps

As you could see from yesterday's post, C has officially graduated from grad school.  He's now a masters in electrical engineering, and I couldn't be more proud of him.  As part of his graduation celebration I decided to make these little graduation caps as a special treat for him :)
I used mini Reese's as the bottom of the caps.
Ghirardelli squares as the tops.
Red Twizzler pull and peels for the tassels.
Melt 1/4 cup of chocolate chips in the microwave and with a knife put some on the Reese's.
Place the Ghirardelli chocolate on top of the Reese's using the melted chocolate to get them to stick together.
Cut the Twizzler's into 3/4 inch pieces and stick on top of the Ghirardelli squares using the melted chocolate.
These turned out so cute and were a perfect graduation treat!  You really can't go wrong with multiple chocolate candies mixed together.  These were a hit with C and his family, so if you have an upcoming graduation, bring these crowd pleasers!
